什麼是TIFA？

根據美國貿易代表署官方網站的資料

為TIFA做了一些說明：

Trade and Investment Framework Agreements (TIFAs) provide strategic frameworks and principles for dialogue on trade and investment issues between the United States and the other parties to the TIFA.

TIFA 貿易暨投資框架協定，提供了美國與其他夥伴之間的戰略框架以及貿易投資議題對話的原則。

These agreements all serve as a forum for the United States and other governments to meet and discuss issues of mutual interest with the objective of improving cooperation and enhancing opportunities for trade and investment.

這些協定作為一個平台，提供美國以及其他政府會商討論與彼此利益相關的議題，以具體改善雙邊合作，並增進貿易與投資的機會。

Topics for consultation and possible further cooperation include market access issues, labor, the environment, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, and, in appropriate cases, capacity building.

TIFA Councils normally meet at least once a year at senior levels of government.

討論的議題以及可能的合作領域包含了市場進入、勞工、環境、保護與促進智慧財產權，在某些合適的案例中，也會包含能力建立(Capability Building)。

The United States has TIFAs with countries at different levels of development and trade and investment interests.
